THE FOUNDATION
The Lions Club Foundation stands united by a shared vision of compassion and service.
Throughout the year the Enterprise Lions Club holds fundraising events to raise money for the charities we support. In June of each year, at a special meeting, the recipients of these funds are recognized for their service to their communities, and they often share how the funds will be spent.
The Club supports Alabama Lions Sight in Birmingham, vision exams and eyeglasses for local individuals who might otherwise not be able to afford them, Camp Seale Harris (a camp for children with diabetes), Special Olympics, youth leadership programs, and other organizations that apply for funds.

At our June 25 meeting, the club presented checks to a number of organizations. President George Baum distributed the checks to the representatives who were able to attend. In addition to these fine organizations, the club raised funds for Alabama Lions Sight, Coffee County Family Services (who coordinate local vision exams for the club), the Christian Mission, and Royal Family Kids' Camp. Our pancake breakfasts, Christmas auction, and Lions Den food trailer all generate revenue that the club can then give back to the community. When you support one of our fundraising events, you are also supporting these organizations.
